AWS ER90S-B3 solid welding wire is a kind of high tensile strengh welding wire, also called mag/mig welding wire which is matched with CO2 gas or Arc gas in welding. It has strong resistance to surface scales and oil stains on the base metal. It has low blowhole sensitivity.

Application: Suitable for structures fabricated by 2.25Cr-1Moseries pearlistic heat resisting low alloy steels, such as heavy equipments of thermal powder stations and nuclear and space projects, petroleum & chemical industries which work temperature below 580º C. Preheating temperature and interpass temperature should between 200º C to 300º C and the welded piece should be tempered at 690º C not shorter than 2 hours after welding.
