Description:
Welding flux SJ101 is a kind of fluoride-alkaline-type slag-serial sintered flux, mesh
10-60(2.0-0.3mm).It has great capacity of sculpture removal, phosphor removal and
anti-rust. The technology has good performance, easy to deslag and with fine
appearance of weld, even in the narrow gap of deep slope entrance. The metal
welding seam has good plasto-toughness, with low diffusion of hydrogen and fine
cold and heat crack resistance.
Application:
This flux is alkaline flux, which belongs to the metallurgy neutral, It hardly increase
Si and Mn on weld bead. High impact toughness at low temperature. The flux has
excellent welding performance, excellent slag removal, and good bead appearance.
With different welding wire welding a variety of low alloy structure steel, for example
pipe, boiler, pressure vessel, bridges, ship etc. Horizontal welding of oil storage
tanks, ships, bridges, pressure vessels, penstocks, boilers and structural steels.
Characteristics:
SJ101 assures excellent weld ability, and the welding bead appearance is
beautiful and the slag is easy to remove.
The diffusible hydrogen content in deposited metal is less than 5ml/100g, so it
has very good toughness at low temperature, therefore, crack resistance is
extremely high.
It is suitable for submerged arc twin- wire, tandem and multi- wire welding as
well as for welding with the two- run technique.
Damp flux should be re-dried at 300-350ºC for 2 hours. Rust, grease and
moisture on the element should be removed before welding.
Attentions:
1. Flux must be re-dried at 300-350 °C (572-662°F) for 2 hours before welding.
2. Remove all rust, scale, paint and etc., so as to obtain excellent weld material.
3. In the multilayer welding, groove welding of baking welding demand low welding
current and speed.
4. Adding new flux regularly in order to avoid causing welding defect and bad welding
bead appearance when using flux again.
