AWS A5.18 ER70S-7(Equal to DIN 8559 SG3; ER49-1) CO2 gas shielded welding wire is a kind of welding wire, also called mig welding wire which is matched with CO2 gas or Arc gas in welding. It has strong resistance to surface scales and oil stains on the base metal. It has low blowhole sensitivity.
Application: Single-pass &multi-pass for welding all kinds of 500MPa grade carbon steel or alloy steel structures. Crack resistance of weld is satisfactory.
