Flux HJ431 Fused Flux for S. A. Welding
Standard Conforming: GB/T5293-1999 F4A2-H08MnA
Equivalent to: AWS A5.17 F6A0-EL12
Description and Applications
Flux HJ431 is a type of fused flux with high-manganese high-silicon low-fluorine content, brownish red to light yellow glassy grains. Its grain size is 2.5-0.45 mm (8-40 meshes). Flux HJ431 is suitable for use with AC or DC power; filler wires connect with Positive Electrode while in DC. With excellent technological properties, the flux provides very good weld bead appearance and excellent slag removal.
Flux for welding of low carbon steels and some low alloy structures (16Mn,15MnV), like boilers, ships, pressure vessels in combination with appropriate SAW wires such as H08A, H08MnA, H10MnSi, and also being applied to electroslag welding as well as weld of copper.
