Flux SJ101 is a type of fluorine and alkali based agglomerated flux, the basicity of which is about 1.8, gray spherical grains in appearance. Its grain size is 2.0-0.28mm (10-60 meshes). Peony Flux SJ101 is suitable for use with AC or DC power; filler wires connect with Positive Electrode while in DC, the maximum current can reach to 1200 amps. With stable burning arc, the flux provides very good weld bead appearance and excellent slag removal. Additional Feathers are good performance of low temperature impact toughness towards weld bead metals.
Combined with appropriate SAW wires such as H08MnA, H08MnMoA, H08Mn2MoA, H10Mn2, the flux is capable of welding multiple important low alloy steel structures, like boilers, pressure vessels, and pipelines. Flux SJ101 can also be applied to multi-wire submerged arc welding, especially in double-side single pass welding of large diameter containers.

Remarks
1. Redry the flux at 300~350ºC for 2 hours before welding.
2. Impurities such as rust, greasy dirt, moisture, etc. should be cleared from welding area.
