AWS E7011-G is a kind of carbon steel electrode with high cellulose potassium type coating specially used for vertical downward welding. AC/DC. It has strong welding arc, deep penetration. It can weld in the bottom with back information. It has fast speed during welding process.

Applications: Suitable for vertical down welding structures, made of carbon steels and low alloy steels, eg. Pipes.

It is not necessary to be baked before welding. But If the electrodes are affected with damp, they must be baked at 150º C for 30-60 minutes before welding.
